This is my third pair of Pearl Izumi shoes. I wear a 10 or 10.5 in most brand shoes. I specifically sized up to 45 with these shoes as I have with my other Pearl Izumi shoes. The fit is perfect. The X-Alp Seek VI has a style similar to Five Ten’s cycling shoes. The sole is styled more like a climbing shoe, like the Five Ten. The upper is completely made of black mesh with a grey, plastic-like overlay with the Pearl Izumi logo. I suspect these will look good for a long time and show less dirt and wear than most of my other cycling shoes. The sole is pretty stiff however less so than a traditional mountain biking shoe. I found these shoes to be extremely comfortable and I could spin for hours without any discomfort whatsoever.I highly recommend these shoes.

i would say this is the best deal out there! if your just starting to use clipped in pedals then this is the best choice i would say you should make! i have looked at JUST shoes and they run about $90-150. the shoe size runs a little big so get one size smaller than your usual shoe size. the shoe isnt the most comfortable to walk with but its good for just biking. if your planing on going to places that you would need to carry your bike and hike these arent the best shoes! but in total they are a great deal!

Casual SPD shoes that don’t look ridiculous when you hop off your bike that costs more than what some people’s cars are worth. I ride my bike pretty much everyday and prefer to ride to run errands with my bike when I can and its nice not looking like you are about to hit the competition trails when you’re just trying to get a gallon of milk. Fit according to manufacturer specs for me and are comfortable to wear. No cleats included, so keep that in mind. I recommend these for people that want a pair of bike shoes capable of ripping on your bike all day and then being able to walk around in public without looking out of place.

I have these as my second pair of mtb shoes. I like them a lot! Very comfortable, and I like the arch support. They are lightweight enough for my purposes and being in the tropics I typically don’t wear socks (they soak up rain and sweat too much) and these shoes fit great even without them! This is a great price for a pair of intro mtb shoes. Highly recommended!

Just recieved these shoes and immediately took them out for a 20 mile ride. Very comfortable, easy to clip in and out without issues. Had to hike a bike on a tough climb and no slipping on loose pack.

So far these are awesome after one weekend.Fit:I usually am a 10.5 or an 11 US mens shoe, so I went with the 10.5 (because everyone said to get asize smaller) and they fit great. I may have been able to go down to a 10 and still fit, but I’m glad I got the 10.5. It’s easy to just tighten the velcro and I have no problem with slipping.Style:I’m a 28 year old cool dude who has good social skills. These shoes have a panther on them. They’re pretty cool.Comfort: The material breathes AWESOME and does a great job keeping my feet cool. I love that. These are not bad to walk in, and do a good job of hiking up a trail if you have to dismount.Pedals: I like how on the non-clip side of the pedal, you could easily pedal with normal shoes. It’s pretty easy to clip and unclip (I haven’t fallen over yet).Installation: This was a little confusing as to which direction things were suppose to face and which way the pedal was suppose to go, but I got it figured out. It would be nice if instructions were more elaborate and specific for these shoes.Value: Great price for the pedal/shoe combo.

They are everything I expected them to be. My only problem is that they are a little small. I should have ordered them about a 1/2 bigger for my sport. I did not know how to do this with the european sizing and sizing based on men’s shoes. So it is my fault but they are absolutely fab color esp.

I bought these shoes to go with my commuter bike. I was a little reluctant to buy them because of the pull string for laces. So far these are great shoes, laces included. I was using my shoes that I would normally go mountain biking with and those have Velcro straps on them. Since I change out of these at work and stuff them into my bag the Velcro strips on my mountain biking shoes kept snagging and catching other fabric in my pack. These shoes wont do that since there is not Velcro. It takes a few times of using the laces to get used to them but once you get the hang of it then its no problem. They have a mesh top so walking in these shoes is easy. No heavy leather to bend. On an occasion, I can hear the spd clip tick on the ground, but its very rare.I wear a men’s size 10.5 and the size 45 fits perfectly. True to size.

for the price the are great. I was just cautious when I screwed the cleats in from reading past reviews. Work great. Run a Lil small.

Great shoe! I’m a US size 14 and these size 49 fit just like any other 14. Very comfortable off the bike and for me a great first shoe!

Great pair of shoes. The function very well and are comfortable. Just like the other reviews state, they do run about a size big. I have narrow feet as well and have plenty of room in them after I strap in tightly.
