I just wore these water shoes for the first time yesterday and I have to say I am extremely happy with them! My family and I spent our day at one of our favorite lakes with our small boat. I was able to stand in the water, even the rockier areas, easily and comfortably with these water shoes. They fit snug enough so that I did not have a lot of sand or other debris in the bottom of the shoe. In fact, I did not need to take them off for the entire day! We even did a bit of hiking to try them out and my feet were very comfortable. This is impressive as I don’t have the strongest arch and as of recently have had some foot tenderness. Even today my feet feel great! I would highly recommend this brand of shoes to anyone looking for a comfortable water shoe. The only cons I might have was that they did take a long time to ship. It seems they came straight from Asia (not sure what country) so if I would have needed to return them that would have been a hassle. Also, they do run on the smaller size. I am a size 7 and don’t normally fluctuate a half size. When they arrived the size seven seemed snug. Of course they are supposed to fit tight, but my toe seemed to be right at the tip of the shoe with no wiggle room. Thankfully, there were no problems for me with comfort but you might want to consider ordering up a size if your food tends to fit half sizes.

These were purchased to be used during a pool exercise class for individuals who are recovering from a stroke. This individual has limited movement of her foot and toes, therefore shoes are difficult to put on. The elastic laces were flexible enough that she could manipulate the shoe to put it on. That was her one of her concerns, how was she going to put the water shoes on by herself. She was very pleased with the results. Shoes fit just right, roomy by the toes, and were comfortable in the water, flexible enough to perform the exercises, easy to walk in and not slip out of water. Very happy with this product.

I bought these with the intent of using them for boating and lake swimming, but it’s going to be hard not to wear them everyday! They are so comfortable and slip on perfectly right out of the package. I wear a size 11 and haven’t worn water shoes for many years because the last pair I had would pinch my feet and get so water logged they would be uncomfortable. The straps on the top actually create a comfortable grip for your feet and the treads on the bottom prevent slipping. I love the simple colors and attractive design, just because something is functional does not mean it has to be ugly! I love these!!

I have wide feet and a medium arch, my ideal shoe size is a 7.5 wide, but I can often squeeze into a 8 medium. I LIVE in Sanuk yoga mat flip flops ALL DAY, EVERY DAY. I live in Arizona, so this is no exaggeration (I even have them in four colors!). But for my most recent vacation I knew I’d need something a little more substantial. These shoes were purchased before my trip where I knew I would be walking on a lot of rocks at the beach while exploring tidal pools and coral reefs. They were also worn while making a long, steep hike up and down a costal cliff and on asphalt and sidewalk in town. They were a little tight to get on, but once they were on they fit fine – and of course, I want them to be a LITTLE tight so they don’t get yanked off by a strong wave! They are pretty cute as far as water shoes go, better looking in person than they are in the listing picture. I wore them all day every day for four days straight of snorkeling, body surfing, and exploring, and never once missed my flip flops. At one point in the afternoon on my first day of wearing them I looked down at my feet and was SURPRISED to see these Speedo watershoes on my feet! They were so comfy and unobtrusive that I absolutely forgot I was wearing them! Now isn’t that the best review you can possibly give?!

I am usually a size 6.5 or 7. I ordered the seven and it fit, but there was a little room. I was concerned they would slide off in the ocean, so I exchanged for a 6. Lengthwise the six was perfect, it was a bit snug to zip, but that also meant they didn’t come off my foot it all in the water. I would size down. Also, be careful placing these with other items when they are wet as the colors may bleed. The first time I rinsed them, the water was pink. Overall I highly recommend these. I didn’t feel like a total nerd in them.

I wanted something for canoeing and kayaking that didn’t let in a bunch of debris and these pretty much do exactly that. I wore them canoeing on the river right after I got them and they kept out all but the very finest silt. Once in the boat, a dip back in the water and that washed out easily enough through the V channels on each side of the shoe. They are very light and feel pretty much like a sneaker. The full coverage in unknown conditions is great. I could see wearing them all day if it wasn’t a work day, though with the lighter color even one day on the river pretty much made them “river shoes”.. They are nice and soft on the inside, so many water shoes are rough on the feet, but these are quite comfortable for an all day paddle. They dry really fast too. I threw them in the back seat of the car, drove about 60 miles home and they were dry by the time I got there. I usually wear an 8 to a 9 depending on brand, I got these in a 9 and they are just right.

To summarize…

Water shoes have lots of variants, and it can be tough to choose the best pair.
