So Asics fit my feet well and these shoes are no exceptions. I’m currently marathon training and switch between multiple shoes. Because of foot and leg fatigue from long training runs, I needed a shoe with more cushion than I am used to. These fit the bill. They feel soft and squishy underfoot. I’ve run 36 miles on these shoes so far and haven’t noticed any difference in pace and have no real complaints. I can tell you my legs have enjoyed the extra cushion and feel much more healthy than they did a week ago. I still run shorter runs in more minimal shoes, but wear these for 10+.I would recommend.
I’ve had severe flat feet since I was a baby, if you’re in that boat, these are the shoes you want. I just ran my first (official) 5.5k last night, no matter how far I run, if I’m wearing these shoes, my feet literally don’t feel any pain at all, which is stunning. HIGHLY recommended!
Probably the best running shoe I’ve ever owned. I avg 20 miles a week, so not a marathon runner by any means but for my 3.5 – 4 mile runs, they are great! I run mostly on paved ground, but occasionally I will run on a trail and they do great with that too. Oh and since you’re reading this I might as well give a plug to the Under Armour socks too…amazing! GETSOME!
Love the shoe and ordered down a size based on reviews. Unfortunately the arch support didn’t sit right so I’m returning for my regular size. I like the fabric and the lacing and straps. Comfortable and easy to adjust. Good lateral stability. For running it’s Asics and for everything else it’s Reebok for me.
I am transitioning from the Asics Distance Speed Trainer (DST’s) 18 and must say that I am most impressed with how fluid the sole of these shoes rolls through the gait. The toe box is a lot roomier than I am used to but I would not mark the shoe down for that. I am tempted to but my next pair a half size smaller but since I am not having any real issues with excessive movement, I may just stay with my size.I bought these for tempo runs and interval training but may actually use these in place of the DST’s for everyday training. I will update this review after I get more mileage in them, but so far, so good!
These shoes are very comfortable and are exercising my calves. I like the feel as I wear them all day. I may try to run in them as my feet feel more comfortable in them.
